Cooking Methods for Seven Layer Taco Dip
I prefer to make this Seven layer Taco Dip using a skillet when cooking the ground beef. But using a Crock Pot to keep this dip warm is ideal if you prefer a Hot Taco Dip.
Layer the recipe just like you would in a baking dish except place in a Crock Pot and keep on warm for a perfect temperature. Keep in mind the sour cream layer and cheese will get warm and melty which is tasty.
How to Store Taco Dip with Meat
Always store dip in refrigerator. This will keep for a couple days in covered and stored chilled.
Can I make Taco Dip in Advance?
As many prefer this dip serve chilled, it can be made hours in advance and stored in refrigerator. Add diced avocado before serving so they don't turn brown.
If using Guacamole make sure to seal under the cream cheese layer so it doesn't turn brown.
As a Meal or an Appetizer
When making Ground Beef Dip with Cream Cheese it's a wonderful Appetizer Recipe for a crowd. However, it can also be served as a full meal for the family.
We always enjoy a dinner when we dip and eat surrounded around the kitchen table. Memories are made with laughter and fun conversations.
